So
I am on holiday in Perth and I’m trying to keep up my sign language so I
practiced a few signs on my family today while relaxing by the pool. They weren’t really interested in it at all,
and probably only watched me because I forced them too! It again reinforced to me the importance of
having some sort of mutual or common ground in occupations and that people do
tend to be drawn more to people who have common interests, values and
beliefs. I am missing have Bec as my
motivation today, it is very hard to practice signing while on holiday, but I
try to make it fun by teaching my family how to sign “I’m hot” haha. They liked that one.
